Hectors Honda non-Hatch

So my homeboy finally got his sedan running pretty well...It feels pretty good when that vtec engages it feels like none other...even though its a sohc it kicks in pretty tough...I really wonder what he is going to do first..
He will probably try and get some wheels first. Or the springs are gonna be cut, Idk if it's me but everytime i see one of my friends hondas they have something new (that would have been expensive on my car) on their car...I hate the parts price for my car...Fuggin Sucks big ol chapstick nutz

Keeps it Clean hopefully

But on another note, can we talk about it STEPDADS eg supercharged h22 hatch...lol kinda doesn't roll of the tongue does it..A little story behind it..he blew his fully built talon and sold it for cheap, he ended up buying a h22 hatch from arizona for only 1600 (and drove the car back) your prolly wondering why and how that happen, his step dad has a false compression tester lol...gets him pretty far with cars he buys hahaha anyways he buys a jackson racing supercharger and blows his h22 because he kept beating on it ( no homo) without it being tuned..He then finds another accord for 1300 and puts the motor in his hatch and sells the shell for 1400 lol...wtf i guess i need to get a honda then huh

Wheels

Man it's really been slow deciding on what to buy next i really want to buy some wheels for my car, Im sick and tired of it looking sunken and stock but ive been debating on what to do...
Honestly i like this set up of wheels how the wheels in the front are different from the wheels in the back..
I really like the rims this guy has (Ssr Vienna Kries) but im not really trying to spend like 600 bucks for 1 used rim lol im not ballin like that..
but it still looks really nice like this i really wanna go for that raw jdm look

So i did some searching and found some guy rocking some style 95 bmw rims only for about 100 dollars a peice, but honestly i just want the rear wheels they are 19x10 +24 offset but the only tricky part is that these wheels are 5x120 so i need to try and find out what adapters will fit flush with a nice fender pull, don't want anything to big because illl probably need some for the fronts..lol i look forward to that project lol

I found some on ebay and the guy was selling the rears for only 280 plus shipping then he didn't answer my message after i said ill buy them....Whack as hell because now the bids are like up to 500...Pfft fail that sucks i got all excited for nothing

Imma rock the fronts with varrstoen es 2.2.1 flat blacks 18x9.5 +0 offsets i really gotta start looking into spacers so it won't be all wacky tacky weirded out flush fitment, im really thinking about doing a good pull like an inch.

Lol i keep seeing this car all around on the web man, first i see it with the ssr's then with these wheels lol..i think it's a good sign right..
So here's my little Wheel checklist

Bmw style 95 wheels x2
5x114 to 5x120 adapters
Varrstoen es 2.2.1 x2
Tires ( not too thrilled about how much this is going to be)
Camber arms
Fender/Roll slash pull

Lol lets see how long this will take me i bet i get sidetracked and buy some other parts for my car instead lol
That's what always tends to happen lol

Karma calls

So my homeboy hector sold his 1st gen integra for a 1st gen civic sedan, motor was basicallly going out on it so he got a really good deal on a sohc vtec motor out of a hatchback....
as of now it has been sitting for 3 weeks waiting and waiting on different parts he needs to make the piece work lol...
First he waited on his harness to be shipped out from this guy in illinios and the dude totally forget to send it so it's been a week waiting for that..
then he finds out dumbass didn't send the ecu along with the mail so he's been waiting a week for that lol
then when he gets it he accidently breaks his radiator (Karma for mine he fuggin broke lol)
luckily since his car is like a tonka toy and he can find parts at the junkyard worthwhile, unlike my lexus, he bought another one for 30 bucks downtown...lucky ass
So finally when it gets down to the nitty gritty and he trys to turn it over, come to find out he is only getting fuel to 1 of the injectors..
Back to the junkyard weeeeee goooooo!
guess he has more time to paint his engine color more rainbow colors lol

Black/Negro

Finally got my radiator here in the mail, luckily the guy over nighted it so im not out of a daily driver anymore lol..anyways the radiator installl took a few minutes it's was really quick so i decided to go to lowes to find some stuff i could make the 8 inch oem subwoofer hole big enough for a custom 10 inch box, and what do i find there in the back next to the insulation

SOME BLACK NEGRO lol look how small the real logo is compared to the so called colors in english/Spanish im black and im not even offended hahah, i was wondering if i went to the front and asked the lady at the register where can i find the black negro at, if she would laugh lol, or would she go on the intercom and say price check for black negro lol

Anyways back to the subject at hand,
I ended up getting some
MDF wood
liquid nail
frost king duct insulation

so what i ended up doing is taking the back seat out and that little board by the rear window all out so i can lay down the insulation to sounddeaden any rattle the metal may make, weird ass place for a fuel tank to be lol lemme tell you that oem board that lays across is so fragile i had to use heavy duty tape all over it so the woofer wouldn't crack it lol

and here's some of that frost duct insulation i laid down...I bet this is gonna make a big difference too it's only like 20 bucks for a big ass roll, way better than paying 60 bucks for 2 toilet paper strips of dynamat lol

the part that took THE ABSOLUTE most time doing was the wood and it was only like 2 peices i needed...i ended up making a peice that fit directly on top of the oem opening and then made a circular riser for it so it wouldn't hit the gas tank
The almost finished project, only took about 6 hours to do everything but i ended up taking like 9 breaks and getting bored and moved on to something else lol, it prolly would have only taken me about 2 to 3 hrs if i went fast enough..This polk really hits too, alot louder than my 12 was..also ive got my whole trunk space, looks oem with the seats back in and the rattle is gone...I kinda wish i just did the wood box to see how bad the rattle would have been just for shits and giggles but im sure the insulation took most of the rattle the mini box wouldn't have gotten....

and pics of my weird located gas tank and the clearance the woofer has
