So i finally got my enjuku racing manifold in (exhaust) it was a bitch to put on i swear took me like a day in a half because i don't have the correct tools hahah...So once again where did i find myself? LOWES!!! YAAAAAY hahah jp but got it on finally and now i need a new oil catch can

So anyway with all this happiness and anticipation of getting the z done guess what the fuck karma brings my way..

Bored!

Got bored and put on the fender mirrors i had bought from a datsun 720 truck...i like them because i can adjust them anyway i like. The jdm ones for 300 bucks don't do that shit and mine i only bought for 40 bucks..I was going to put in the autometer boost gauge but i can't take off the damn dashboard lol

Fuel cell is here

So ive got the fuel cell,
gonna do something a little bit different than what alot of other peeps are doing...

if you don't know, than everybody cuts all of the spare tire well out and makes brackets and all this blah blah blah pain for the fuel cell to be very low to the ground..Im a lover of hellaflush and i want to eventually slam/dump/scrape..lol not scrape but put a skid plate in the front and slam the car a good two subway sandwhiches lol..hahah jp. itll be a nice slam though..not like ridiculous you can't drive but itll be pretty low..anyways the pic of this right here is what the spare tire part looks like..

That's too much work...lol so i bought a 12 gallon fuel cell, and the mounts i started cutting and my grinder blade fucking broke so i had to go to the store and it got too late to work on the car so i just skipped it till tommorrow will update when the it's done

as you can see where i started to cut so the cell will mount snuggly..gonna finish cutting that little oem mounting part for the wheel and then smooth down the around area tommorrow should be nice.

Some progress

So i had to tow the car, and motor from my friends house to my house.
Long story but me and him don't talk anymore, nor do me and my girlfriend >sigh< my fault though

anyways so i towed it and when i get it to my garage i find out that i need a new front bumper since i towed it with tow straps lol..ahh well im buying some airdam later anyways lol

ended up doing some late night cleaning in the interior. im soo much happier it's at my house now, i can work on it whenever i want now.

I cut off the hood latch
resprayed the front grill
removed excess in interior
cleaned interior
started to grind down the old mounts but got tired lol. will do that tommorrow

Been having a few issues with life. Almost gave up on my car in general
-Lost my girlfriend
-Lost a good friend
-Lost two families i was close to
-Lost my dog


It was all from a few incidents I MADE, and taking the blame for my actions responisbly has showed alot in my eyes.

Geting shit done finally

Finally got my hands dirty with the z, like my plan earlier i decided to test my inside electrical and come to find out unexpectedly everything works...from the blinker down to the wipers everything works...so that saves me some cash, thank god!!
So pulled the l series motor out last night, came up 90 bucks with all the stuff taken off. other than that i pulled all those un-needed vac lines along with the ac since im not going to use the a/c system towed the car halfway to the gas station where there was a pressure washer and had to jack the car up and unbolt the driveshaft

  the engine bay is soooo much cleaner than it was...glad i took the time to tow it down to the gas station to get it cleaned. It was worth it.

Next will be getting the mounts this coming paycheck which is the 7th so waiting will be the key again because i hear the wait is like 2 weeks...Need my damn school money soon this is getting ridiculouso

Found some zg flares from zproductions store on craigslist he wanted $250 but the guy was nice enough to lower it down to $220 those things are usually 250 plus shipping. I know i should be buying stuff for the z to be out and running but they are more expensive usually so i went for it

Alright so i did the down and back to california for that motor...
that guy was pretty cool motor is clean as fuck, can't wait to get the motor running...Drive was long so we stopped at the beach to kick it took a few pics whatever. motor was heavy as hell, for a 4 cyl lol

So i've got alot of parts to get before i get this beyotch on the road so it's probably gonna be alot longer than mid october...
So I am going to try to do a better checklist than the one i've had lol shit sucks. Usually i have trouble with money now im going to be having trouble with time. I really want the datsun out on the road by october 29th for a meet so maybe ill do that..
Tommorrow im going to check the electrical on the datsun, gonna make sure everything is okay in the interior

Lol i had a plan, since i didn't have any tools at all (compressor, hoise, power washer) my good friends step dad has. Was gonna take the carb'd motor out using his hoist, then pressure wash the engine bay and then use the hoist to put the sr in the z..everything was like a glorious rainbow...
but day before that was supposed to happen my dingaling ass friend got into an arguement and now i can't use none of the shit...That's sooooo whack! so now i have to figure out this and that and im not trying to spend money on tools i need for the swap. i want to spend money on parts i need for the swap..
Maybe i can get in good with the step dad lol...i hope he would let me us it. so now i am sourcing out all that shit now..whack!

Anyways i took some of the faded parts that were black and spray painted them with the same type of spray paint i used for the fmic..it should come out nicely

Update to the z, im still looking for a 280z fuel tank since mine was rusted and busted lol.
Planning on taking the motor out on Friday, I am going to make a run to the junk yard after and see if i can find a 280z fuel tank and a electric fan for my radiator from a benz or a bmw hopefully..

I got bored and painted the fmic black, Im not really to into that whole show that your car is turbo by a big fat ass fucking intercooler core so everybody can see it...That's too much attention lol

Im also waiting on my buddy to let me know if i can hitch a ride to carson so i can finally go get that motor....shit!

Searched and searched zilvia.net and finally found a sr20det for sale.
I was soo close to buying a 1jz motor and try to schroung around for a bellhousing and a r154 but thought about it and the sr20 is a complete set it cost a pretty penny but well worth it only thing i need to find is a fmic and it'll start right up..
Going to cali later in the month to go buy it and bring it back to place in the z

Triple A sucks but i finally started getting my hands dirty

So i finally got around to towing the car to the house, well my friends house. he has air tools there so i usually just go over to his house to do anything that involves projects.
I had used my brothers triple a the night before and after about a 2 hour wait the guy shows up and says yeah i can't tow the car because its not registered. I was like wtf just tow the bitch dude, but whatever came back the following morning with the plates from the sc300 and try and tow it again, get there and another driver is like no i can't tow it sorry because your not the card holder..What the fuck ever so i towed it using my buddies durango and a trailor from uhaul.

Got it to my friends house and man i took a few looks at it again, it's a pretty nice shell i think i got a good no a great deal on it. I even got the full polyurethane bushing kit with the car and 2 service manuals.

So pulled the bumpers off front and back selling those
did some cosmetic fixing of the doors, only had enough time to fix the hatch door it was just a little off.
and dropped the fuel tank I need to buy a surge tank along with a 280z fuel tank
dropped the stock exhaust and took off some of the crap in that dusty motor

Junkyard time

I keeps it ghetto

So another add on to the sc300 i only had like 2 or 3 peeps text me about the sc300 so i put it up for $2500 maybe ill get some heads that want to take a look, so i was driving today and my driver side window decided to either jump off the tracks or blow the motor... So it was just chillin all the way down all day at work, luckily it happen after i left school and not at school because if it would have happen at the school it would have been over for my belongings, and car..

So i hella ghetto rigged the window im not trying to spend anymore money on the car and i can't just roll up to school with my windows down and a big ass sign that says hey robbers come to my car and steal my radio and car lol so i just took the door apart and duct taped the sliding part of the motor with a bicycle handle bar foam..hahaha, it's hella ghetto but i am not trying to pay any cash or not have a ride to school, especially since all my funds is gonna go toward the z
